A print of Henri Matisse's 'The Circus. Maquette for plate II - Jazz'.

The original was created in 1946 using gouache on paper, cut and pasted as part of Matisse's cut-outs period. When ill health first prevented Matisse from painting, he began to cut into painted paper with scissors as his primary technique.

Printed on 300gsm paper.
