This functional yet beautiful chopping board has been designed and made in England by Tuula Nicholson and Shaun Robinson.
Tuula Nicholson is one of the grandchildren of Barbara Hepworth and we are delighted that she has designed an exclusive range for Tate inspired by her grandmother's work to coincide with the exhibition Barbara Hepworth: Sculpture for a Modern World at Tate Britain (24 June - 25 October 2015). For this piece she was inspired by her grandmother?s quote:
I, the sculptor, am the landscape. I am the form and I am the hollow, the thrust and the contour
Tuula, with her partner Shaun Robinson set up STIK DESIGNS in the Cotswolds. They use only natural and reclaimed materials from local sources to create practical, unique and aesthetically pleasing items for the home and garden.
Made from oak. 18cm x 25cm x 2.3cm.
