Twelve page wall calendar featuring some of the very best of Millais’s work from Tate’s collection, including The Knight Errant 1870, Christ in the House of His Parents 1849-50 and the iconic Ophelia 1851-2. An informative snippet of text accompanies each work and the date grid features previous and next month’s views, to keep you on top of things for the year ahead.

John Everett Millais was born in Southampton in 1829. Considered a child prodigy, Millais came to London in 1838 and was sent to Sass's Art School. At the Royal Academy he helped form the revolutionary Pre- Raphaelite Brotherhood, a movement inspired by nature, religious themes, literature and poetry and painted with high realism to evoke a medieval feel.
