This beautifully presented folio contains an archival quality print of O’Keeffe’s Jimson Weed, White Flower No.1, which is one of the artist’s most famous pieces, originally painted in 1932 using oil on canvas. Produced exclusively for Tate to accompany the Georgia O’Keeffe exhibition at Tate Modern, this print is contained within a folder and would make a lovely gift or exhibition memento for admirers of O’Keeffe’s work.

Heavily inspired by nature, enlarged flowers were often the focus of O’Keeffe’s paintings. By highlighting the minute detail in this way, she hoped to encourage busy city dwellers to pay more attention to the beauty of the natural world around them, that might otherwise pass them by.

Regarded as one of the most innovative American painters of the twentieth-century, O’Keeffe was well known for her paintings of magnified flowers, New Mexico desert landscapes and animal skulls.
