Framed print of JMW Turner's beautifully vivid watercolour 'Scarlet, Sunset'. Originally painted in the years between 1830-1840 with watercolour and gouache on paper.
Turner was recognised as a prodigy in his youth, but his later work was divisive and often misunderstood. However, one of his supporters of the time, John Ruskin, dubbed him the the greatest of the age' and recent critics have argued that his later work demonstrates radical and exploratory techniques for the time.
