Unframed print of Jim Dine’s vibrant work Four Hearts (1969). During this period Dine was consciously refining and controlling his painterly technique in order to create a more romantic and sensual effect compared to his previous works.
Born in 1935, Jim Dine can be considered a modern individualist as he did not conform to any post-war artist movements. His method included exploring and repeating the same motif or theme across different mediums, including clothing and commonly found domestic objects.
24 x 30 cm. Image includes a white border around the edge.
