Poster reproduction of a Russian street poster currently on display at Tate Modern. “Death to World Imperialism”, is Dmitrii Moor’s operatic masterpiece from 1919. The Bolshevik’s foremost poster artist of the Civil War period, Moore was not above attacking his fellow artists – including Deni – Whom he regarded, rather unfairly, as pre-Revolutionary old hat suffering from “stylistic inertia”. Both these posters carry a sinister warning in small print: “Anyone who tears down this poster or covers it up is performing a counter-revolutionary act.”
This Russian Revolution poster is litho printed on 350 gsm Cyclus Offset Paper and Fasson crack back 80 gsm.
Dimensions of the poster: 100 x 69 cm. Image size: 97 x 66 cm.
Packaging: The posters are rolled in tubes.
