Yellow and pink Groovy drop earrings

These yellow and pink Groovy drop earrings are just that – tactile, wave-like grooves are cut into the painted walnut wood, complementing the hinged style that undulates gently as you move.

Designed and made by Materia Rica with Perrine Honoré, we’ve chosen these earrings as part of our collection celebrating The Casablanca Art School exhibition at Tate St Ives.

Made from two half-oval pieces, the contrasting colours and hollow centre combine to create a punchy, impactful accessory that’ll give a boost to your overall look. They’re hand crafted from FSC certified walnut wood, and are fastened with hypoallergenic ear studs.

Materia Rica was created by Marta Chojnacka and Joan Ayguade Jarque, who met in London and teamed up to create jewellery and accessories with a focus on sustainability and traditional craftsmanship. They use locally sourced FSC certified wood for their jewellery designs, and every necklace and earring is created in the studio, dyed and finished completely by hand. Perrine Honoré is a Barcelona-based artist and illustrator whose work combines intense colours and organic forms to create rhythmic compositions.
