A 227g jar of delicious Tate Modern honey!
Installed by our resident Urban Beekeeper Steve Benbow from The London Honey Company, the colourful hives on the rooftops of Tate Modern and Tate Britain have had a record year, making it possible to produce our very own delicious Tate honey.
Dark and runny, the production of Tate honey helps pollinate the gardens and trees along London's Bankside and Millbank, and help maintain the dwindling numbers of honey bees that are so vital to our ecosystem.
Surviving well in urban areas, the bees have access to a diverse array of nectars which is thought to produce more flavoursome honey than from the countryside.
*We are sorry to report that due to customs regulations, it is not possible to send this honey outside the UK*
