About our shops

Our shops offer a wide selection of books, prints and products that reflect and support the primary goal of Tate: to promote the knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of art.

Many of our products are specially commissioned, and we work with a wide array of creative talent – from artists and designers who are household names, to young illustrators at the start of their career.

All of the profit we make is covenanted to Tate and plays a vital part in supporting its ambitious programme and activities.

NATALIE BELL BUILDING

Turbine Hall Shop – Level 0

This large shop has a fun, family feel with our biggest range of brilliantly illustrated children’s books and products. You’ll also find popular art books and magazines, gift ideas, exclusive prints, postcards and posters.

Tate Edit – Level 1

The Guerrilla Girls have taken over Tate Edit! From October 2023, you can shop a large collection of prints, products, fashion and books curated and designed in partnership with the US-based art activist collective.

The shop's striking window and entrance have been designed in collaboration with the Guerrilla Girls, depicting their iconic gorilla mask tearing through the vinyl in a comic book style. Providing shoppers with an immersive experience, every inch of the space is painted, graffitied, or decorated in the signature style of the collective.

With its own entrance next to the river, you can visit Tate Edit without entering the gallery. This unique space offers a carefully curated range of products to spark curiosity and inspire creativity.

Periodically we invite guest editors to collaborate with us, selecting items for the shop and creating exclusive products and experiences. Past guest editors have included Bob & Roberta Smith, Chila Kumari Singh Burman, Jasper Morrison and Margaret Howell.

River Shop – Level 1

Located on the river side of the gallery on level one next to the exit, here you’ll find a ‘best of’ selection of products and books, as well as gift ideas and books about the local area around Tate Modern including the South Bank and Borough Market.

BLAVATNIK BUILDING

Terrace Shop – Level 1

Our largest collection of books on modern art and culture sits alongside a specially selected range of products including collaborations with artists and designers, jewellery and accessories. You’ll also find children’s books and products, and a wide range of art prints.
