The safety of our staff, visitors and community is our top priority and so in line with advice from Public Health England the galleries are closed until further notice, however we’re pleased to announce that the Tate online shop is open as usual.

For you, our customers:

We are working hard to resume normal service while maintaining the welfare of our team, couriers and our customers. As part of this, we are providing contactless delivery, so you can stay safe at home. While the current lock-down measures mean some of our orders may take slightly longer than usual to reach you, rest assured we are doing our best to deliver as quickly and as safely as possible. We are also extending our returns policy to 45 days during this time to relieve as much of the pressure as we possibly can.

For our staff, couriers and their families:

We are following all the government health and safety executive guidelines to support our staff, working hard to fulfill your orders. Our working hours have been adjusted to allow staff to avoid rush hour commutes and give more time to rest. Following all the health advice made available, we are observing social distancing measures continuing to clean our sites frequently and thoroughly. We are offering as much support to all our colleagues at Tate and partners, and doing everything we can to accommodate those with children and care-giving responsibilities.

Delivery times

We aim to deliver shop products within:

UK – 3-5 working days
Europe – 5-7 working days
Rest of world – 7-10 working days

Custom prints

We aim to deliver custom prints within 10 working days. For countries outside of Europe, delivery may take up to 20 days.

As each print is handmade to order they take a little longer to prepare. We’ll dispatch your order as soon as it is ready, separately from any other items.

Delivery costs

We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £50, including custom prints. Please select UK standard delivery at the checkout. Please note that this offer is valid only online. Our other delivery costs are as follows.

UK – £3.60 per order
Europe – £12 per order
Rest of world – £28 per order

Framed and canvas custom prints

As these are bulky items we need to add an additional delivery charge per print.

UK – £7.50 per print
Europe – £20 per print
Rest of world – £50 per print

Limited editions

Due to the nature of our Limited Edition artworks, Tate offers rates for packaging materials to sufficiently protect the works and a fully insured, door-to-door courier service, for both UK and international shipping.

Unframed prints and small works:
UK – £30 each
Europe – £120 each
Rest of world – £150 each
 
Framed works and 3D objects:
UK – £50 each
Europe – £150 each
Rest of world – £180 each
 
Please note that some 3D artworks require bespoke shipping quotes, including Pyllida Barlow's Catch, 2016 and Taryn Simon's Anthem, 2015.

 

Tickets

Your tickets will be sent to you via email as a PDF attachment. If you’ve not received your tickets please contact our customer service team on +44 (0)207 887 8888, or by emailing ticketing@tate.org.uk.

Membership

You will be emailed an e-membership card to use immediately. If you’ve bought a gift membership we’ll email an e-membership card to the recipient on the day their membership is due to start.

We’ll send out the full membership pack within 14 days of purchase, or you can collect your pack when you next visit any of our galleries.

Restrictions

We deliver anywhere in the world but unfortunately we can’t deliver to PO box addresses. These are restrictions imposed by our couriers.

Duties, tax and service charges

If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties, taxes and delivery service charges, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note that customs policies vary widely from country to country and we’d advise you to contact your local customs office for further information. Please be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by custom authorities.
