Our distribution centre team are still working hard to fulfil your online orders. Please keep in mind that due to the pandemic, enhanced safety protocols and reduced numbers of staff mean that some unexpected delays to delivery may be expected. This is to protect our distribution centre team, and also our courier partners, who are experiencing an increased workload.

If we’re made aware of any unexpected delays, we’ll contact you via email as soon as possible.

Brexit Update:

We’re now able to offer delivery to the following EU countries:

  • Austria
  • France
  • Germany
  • the Netherlands
  • Republic of Ireland
  • Please see our Duties, tax and service charges section below for more information on these deliveries.

    We’re still working towards reinstating delivery to the rest of the EU. We hope to have these up and running again as soon as possible, and we’ll keep you informed of any changes.

    Deliveries to non-EU countries within Europe may also be subject to unforeseen delays as they pass through EU countries. If you made an order more than 4 weeks ago and still haven’t received your delivery, please contact us and we’ll get in touch with our courier partners.

    Delivery times

    Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and Brexit, we’re facing some additional challenges in getting your orders to you as quickly as possible.

    Our small team of Tate colleagues at our distribution centre are working hard to minimise delays, but as couriers are also experiencing increased workloads and travel disruptions, we really appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

    We aim to deliver shop products within:

    UK – 1-2 weeks
    European Union – 2-4 weeks
    Rest of world – 2-4 weeks

    Please note that custom prints, custom print clothing, coffee and wine are dispatched separately to the rest of your order. This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.

    If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please Contact Us and we’ll investigate for you.

    Custom prints

    We aim to deliver custom prints within 2-4 weeks.

    As each print is handmade to order they take a little longer to prepare. We’ll dispatch your order as soon as it is ready, separately from any other items.

    Custom print clothing

    As they’re printed to order in the Isle of Wight, our custom print clothing items are dispatched separately from other shop products.

    Even though they won’t arrive in the same delivery as other items, our delivery times for custom print clothing are the same as for all other non-custom print items:

    UK – 1-2 weeks
    European Union – 2-4 weeks
    Rest of world – 2-4 weeks

    Delivery costs

    We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60, including Limited Editions, custom prints, custom print clothing and coffee. Please select UK standard delivery at the checkout. Please note that this offer is valid only online. Our other delivery costs are as follows:

    UK – £3.60 per order
    European Union – £15 per order
    Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

    Framed and canvas custom prints

    As these are bulky items we need to add an additional delivery charge per print.

    UK – £7.50 per print
    European Union – £20 per print
    Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £50 per print

    Limited editions

    Due to the nature of our Limited Edition artworks, our delivery costs include packaging materials to sufficiently protect the works and a fully insured, door-to-door courier service.

    USA – £80 per order
    European Union – £120 per order
    Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £150 per order


    Please note that some 3D artworks require bespoke shipping quotes, including Phyllida Barlow's Catch, 2016 and Taryn Simon's Anthem, 2015.

    Coffee

    Coffee by Tate orders are dispatched directly from our Roastery at Tate Britain, so they’ll arrive separately to the rest of your order.

    UK – £3.60 per order
    European Union – £15 per order
    Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

    Wine

    Our collection of wines is only available for delivery in the UK. We currently offer free delivery on orders over £100, using a specialist white glove service within the M25 area.

    UK only – £20 per order

    Please note that our wines can only be purchased by those aged 18 years and over. Customers will be asked to provide proof of age upon delivery.

    Tickets

    Your tickets will be sent to you via email as a PDF attachment. If you’ve not received your tickets please contact our customer service team by emailing ticketing@tate.org.uk.

    Membership

    You will be emailed an e-membership card to use immediately. If you’ve bought a gift membership we’ll email an e-membership card to the recipient on the day their membership is due to start.

    We’ll send out the full membership pack within 14 days of purchase, or you can collect your pack when you next visit any of our galleries.

    Restrictions

    Although we deliver internationally, sadly we’re not able to deliver to the following countries:

    • Afghanistan
    • Central African Republic
    • Iran
    • Liberia
    • Mali
    • North Korea
    • Russia
    • Somalia
    • Sudan
    • Syria
    • Yemen

    We also can’t deliver to PO box addresses. These are restrictions imposed by our couriers.

    Due to Brexit, we’ve had to temporarily suspend orders to most countries in the European Union until further notice. Current exceptions to this are:

  • Austria
  • France
  • Germany
  • the Netherlands
  • Republic of Ireland
  • We’re still working towards reinstating delivery to the rest of the EU. We thank you again for your patience; please check this page for further updates as we have them.

    Duties, tax and service charges

    If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties, taxes and delivery service charges, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance.

    As our Custom Prints, Custom Print Clothing and Coffee are all made to order, they will be shipped separately from other items. If your order includes a mixture of items from these ranges, you will receive separate customs clearance bills for each delivery. Don’t worry: the clearance charge is calculated per item, so you do not pay more than you would for the same items in a single delivery.

    For example, if you ordered a book, a Chila Kumari Singh Burman hoodie, a Barbara Hepworth Winter Solstice custom print, and a bag of Manassés Sampaio Dias coffee, your order would arrive in 4 separate deliveries, and the customs clearance fees would be split into 4 separate charges. Please note that your country’s customs office may also apply a small administration fee to each delivery.

    Please note that customs policies vary widely from country to country and we advise you to contact your local customs office for further information. Please be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by custom authorities.
