With an incredible eye for detail and colour, Tokyo-born Natsko Seki is our favourite new illustrator. Her delightful designs contain illustration, photography and collage and have wonderful hidden humour- each one combining personal elements in lively public settings.
Inspired by the age-old idea of the school playground, Natsko Seki's magical Playground set of prints will keep you entranced for hours. Including elements of the fantastical and the surreal (spot the children climbing an elephant, or riding giant birds!), her prints celebrate a child's imagination and freedom to play. The set of two prints look stunning side by side and feature variations only a beady eye will spot. Says Natsko of Playground:
"The kids are having a fun at the playground in the picture. Why not enjoy yourself too and try spotting the eight differences between the two!"
About the artist: Born in 1976, Natsko grew up in Tokyo, studied illustration in Brighton, and made her way to London where she now works on an increasing number of worldwide commissions.
Inspired by architecture and fashion from different ages and cultures, Natsko enjoys applying her friends and family members into her illustrations by collaging photos from her old family albums and her own photographs. She believes they are the crucial part of her practice; that her timeless illustrations become personal and have a meaning.

Each of the two Playground prints measure 15.5 x 58cm (print dimensions) or 64 x 22cm (overall dimensions with white border) and are individually signed and numbered in pencil by the artist.
