Recycled rubber pouch - blue lining

This pouch is made from recycled rubber tyres with a coloured cotton canvas back and lining. The bright colour of the lining matches the colour of the zip pull. Thw material is up-cycled from tyres & inner tubes and is water resistant, scratch proof and anti-static. It is also eco friendly, and each bag saves about 720g of CO2 emissions.

The Lamali Indian Truck collection is composed of pouches, bags, purses… entirely made by hand out of recycled materials. All these materials get a new life, whether they are unused (fabric scraps or end of roll industrial fabrics) or well-worn (tyre or inner tube).

The Indian Truck items are the result of a partnership with the charity Conserve India, which Lamali have been supporting since their beginning in 2002. The charity Conserve India provides work opportunities to more than 300 people from the slums of New-Delhi. It aims at increasing people awareness of environment and pollution issues, through the transformation of recycled raw materials into useful objects. As for the design of products, Conserve often relies on volunteers from many different countries. Lamali France have a long history of collaborating with their team.
