Additional Information

Poster advertising Tate’s Meredith Frampton exhibition, which took place at Tate Britain (then Tate Gallery), in 1982. The poster uses a large image of Frampton’s Marguerite Kelsey,1928, his portrait of the professional artists’ model. Frampton styled the model himself, choosing Kelsey’s dress and shoes to convey a deliberately modern style, with a touch of classical simplicity.
