Striking promotional exhibition poster for the Twentieth Century Masterpieces exhibition, 1952. First staged in May and June at the Musée d’Art Moderne, Paris, as part of the International Festival of the Arts known as Masterpieces of the Eleventh Century, it then travelled to London and was held at Tate Britain (then Tate Gallery) in July and August. The poster text reads:
