Merida large round tray

In greys, reds and blues complementing the natural birch plywood, Georgia Bosson’s contemporary design Merida makes this large round wooden tray a stylish and colourful addition to your tableware.

The largest in a series of three round trays designed to stack together and complement each other, its pattern, evocative of Mexican churches, is eye-catching enough to stand alone. The birch plywood tray is made at a small factory in Greenwich and the motif is screen printed by hand in Georgia’s studio Bermondsey.

After studying Embroidery in Manchester, Georgia returned to her roots in London and created the Georgia Bosson design studio. As a product designer with a specialism in textiles, Georgia’s passion for quilting, embroidery and traditional patterns can be seen across all of her work. Her 2.5 m studio print table is the centre of her experimental approach to design. Hand cut and drawn paper stencils are used for her screen printing, making each piece truly unique. She works with social enterprises and UK or European materials to make her products both socially and environmentally responsible.

As each piece is handmade, slight variations in ink placement and wood grain can be expected, making each tray unique.

Whilst the trays have been varnished to protect the wood and inked pattern, please hand wash only.
