How does the trial work?
Your 3-month Trial membership entitles you and a guest to unlimited free entry to every exhibition and Members Rooms at Tate until 30 April 2026.
The offer applies to new Members paying by Direct Debit only. You will be sent a reminder notice before the membership auto-renews and you can cancel at anytime after the trial membership fee has been taken.
Do I need to book to visit the galleries?
Members enjoy unlimited free entry to exhibitions and collection displays – no need to book, just turn up with your membership card.
How many guests can I bring with me?
As a Trial Member, you can bring one guest with you and up to six children who are 16 years old or under.
How do I renew my membership?
As a Trial Member, you pay by Direct Debit, so your membership will renew automatically unless you let us know you don't want to continue your membership. We will send a reminder notice before the membership renews automatically and you can cancel at any time after paying the trial membership fee.
Can I buy a Trial membership as a Member?
This offer is available to new customers only and not those who have held a membership in the last year.
