We’re all trying to reduce our single-use plastic usage, but who doesn’t have a sense of fondness for the shopping bag designs of the 1990s? Wear your appreciation without the microplastics with a piece of gold-plated jewellery that’s anything but disposable.
The ‘pink bag’ side of the pendant features a yellow and blue smiley face with the words ‘Have a nice day’, and the ‘red bag’ side has a white rose and cursive style writing for the words ‘Thanks for shopping’. It’s strung on an 18 carat gold plated 20 inch chain, perfect for wearing alone or layering with shorter necklaces.
Like all of our Yellow Owl Workshop jewellery, the necklace is presented in an elegant and useful glass vial. This re-usable cylinder means you don’t need additional boxes or packaging if you’re buying it as a gift, and it’s also the best place to store the necklace when it’s not in use. The necklace is hung from a clear insert inside the bottle, so you can see both sides of the pendant eve when you’re not wearing it.
The necklace is from Yellow Owl Workshop, an accessory maker based in San Francisco, USA. Founded by Christine Schmidt in 2007, they pride themselves on their attention to detail, ecological awareness, and high quality materials used in their jewellery, as well as creating a fair and equitable environment for their employees, paying a living wage and providing a safe and inclusive workplace for all.

Delivery & returns
Delivery times
We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:
- UK – 2-3 working days
- International (excluding EU) – 2-4 weeks
For framed custom prints and rugs, we aim to deliver within:
- UK – 1-2 weeks
- International (excluding EU) – 2-4 weeks
Many of our neon lights are made in small batches, delivery is estimated at 4-6 weeks worldwide. Our Goldfinger x Tate furniture collection is made to order, with a production lead time of 12-14 weeks.
Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.
If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.
Delivery costs
We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Our other delivery costs are as follows.
For orders under £60:
UK – £5 per order
Rest of world ((excluding EU) – £28 per order
From 13 December 2024, we will be temporarily pausing shipping to the European Union and Northern Ireland, to update our details to comply with new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). We will restart shipping to the EU and NI as soon as possible, thank you for your patience.

Refunds & returns
If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return any items to us, free of charge within 60 days of purchase, and we will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, furniture and pierced earrings.
