Each Summer Collection dress is unique, hand-painted by Lisa Milroy and tailored by Lorraine Richards. The patterns are evocative of the summer – sunny weather, the beach and ocean. There are 50 dresses in the edition, with six patterns to choose from. As each dress is hand-painted by the artist, slight variations in the groups of patterns and paint tones occur, making every dress in the collection one-of-a-kind.
Lisa Milroy was elected to the Royal Academy of Arts in 2005 and teaches at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL. Her paintings are held in many public and private collections, including Tate. Still life is at the heart of Lisa Milroy’s practice, and clothing and shoes have been recurrent motifs in her paintings since the 1980s. The patterns in Summer Collection – Dresses are informed by Milroy's weaving and pattern paintings, and her paintings of dresses and shirts.
Lorraine Richards is a costume maker for theatre and film. Educated at the Laban Centre, Lorraine achieved a degree in dance before pursuing her childhood passion to become a costume maker. She has since created costumes for theatre productions including Mamma Mia, Book of Mormon, and Lord of the Rings.

Size 10: bust – 84 cm, waist – 64 cm, Hips – 89 cm.
Size 12: bust – 88 cm, waist – 68 cm, Hips – 93 cm.
Size 14: bust – 92 cm, waist – 72 cm, Hips – 97 cm.
Size 16: bust – 97 cm, waist – 77 cm, Hips – 102 cm.
Due to the structural nature of the fabric used, if you are between sizes, we recommend ordering the larger option.
As the dresses are hand-painted, please hand wash only and do not bleach, tumble dry or dry clean. Medium iron.

Delivery times
We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:
- UK – 2-3 working days
- International (excluding EU) – 2-4 weeks
For framed custom prints and rugs, we aim to deliver within:
- UK – 1-2 weeks
- International (excluding EU) – 2-4 weeks
Many of our neon lights are made in small batches, delivery is estimated at 4-6 weeks worldwide. Our Goldfinger x Tate furniture collection is made to order, with a production lead time of 12-14 weeks.
Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.
If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.
Delivery costs
We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Our other delivery costs are as follows.
For orders under £60:
UK – £5 per order
Rest of world ((excluding EU) – £28 per order
From 13 December 2024, we will be temporarily pausing shipping to the European Union and Northern Ireland, to update our details to comply with new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). We will restart shipping to the EU and NI as soon as possible, thank you for your patience.

If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return any items to us, free of charge within 60 days of purchase, and we will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, furniture and pierced earrings.
