As seen on the walls of Sarah Lucas: Happy Gas at Tate Britain, this Tits in Space, 2020 wallpaper is designed by Sarah Lucas using images of her cigarette and ball sculptures.

First used by Lucas with a black background as the wallpaper for her The Fag Show exhibition in 2000, the artist has repurposed the design and wallpaper with different colours several times since. This iteration, with its peach background, is available from Tate Shop for the duration of Lucas’s Tate exhibition, where it can be seen as part of the display.

Made from high quality non-woven 6 colour Flexo paper, the premium quality wallpaper features a repeated design of Tits in Space 2000 contrasted with peach. Each roll contains 52 x 1000 cm of wallpaper, and is made in the UK.

About the artist

Sarah Lucas (born 1962) is a British artist, celebrated for her bold and irreverent work, which explores the human body, mortality, humour, and uniquely British experiences of sex, class and gender. Lucas rose to prominence among the Young British Artists of the early 1990s. She studied at Goldsmiths College from 1984-87 and showed her work in the 1988 Freeze exhibition. The objectification of the female form and the potential of everyday objects are major themes in her work, which spans sculpture, portraiture, photography and installation.

Delivery times

We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:

UK – 2-3 working days

International – 2-4 weeks

For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:

UK – 1-2 weeks

International – 2-4 weeks

Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.

If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.

Delivery costs

We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Please note that this is offer is valid only online. Our other delivery costs are as follows.

For orders under £60:

UK – £3.60 per order

European Union – £15 per order

Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

Limited editions

Due to the nature of our Limited Edition artworks, Tate offers rates for packaging materials to sufficiently protect the works and a fully insured, door-to-door courier service, for both UK and international shipping.

USA & Canada – £80 each
European Union – £120 each
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £150 each
 
 

Rugs

Rugs are dispatched directly from the Christopher Farr workshop, so they will arrive separately from any other items ordered from Tate Shop.

Goldfinger + Tate furniture

As each item of furniture is made to order, delivery takes 12-14 weeks, and will arrive separately to any other items in your Tate Shop order.

UK – £150 per order using a specialist white-glove delivery service. An access check can be arranged for £80.
 

Food & Wine

Our collection of food and wine is only available for delivery in the UK. We currently offer free delivery on wine orders over £100, using a specialist white glove service within the M25 area.

Wine: UK only – £20 per order

Please note that our wines can only be purchased by those aged 18 years and over. Customers will be asked to provide proof of age upon delivery.

Refunds & returns

Please contact our customer service team within 45 days if you need to return anything from your order. We will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, Goldfinger + Tate furniture, face coverings and pierced earrings. We cannot cover the cost of returning the items, unless we've made a mistake or they are faulty.
