Katy Hessel is an art historian, curator, writer, and broadcaster. She is the founder of the Instagram account @thegreatwomenartists and the podcast of the same name. Hessel is a regular contributor to The Guardian, British Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar. She has lectured at Cambridge University and the National Gallery, as well as presented documentaries for the BBC.
