Adding the finishing touch to your coffee morning, afternoon tea or dinner party, the gently rounded teaspoon is made from sustainably sourced acacia wood, handcrafted by skilled artisans.

Each spoon is carved, dried, sanded and finished with a food-safe varnish by a small-scale family workshop located in the Philippines, where all the employees are paid a fair wage. The wood used to make the coffee spoons is locally sourced acacia wood. Acacia wood is a plentiful and sustainable source of wood in the Philippines; not only fast growing, the cutting and processing of acacia trees is regulated and certified by the government to ensure that responsible levels are not exceeded, and for every mature tree cut down, a new one is planted. The beautifully shaded grain of the wood means that every set of teaspoons is subtly unique, with its own pattern of swirls and knots.

After use, you can wash your wooden spoon in warm soapy water by hand, but do not leave to soak in water.
