Ready to watch the sunset with JMW Turner? This pink toned wristwatch from Swatch x Tate takes its serene colour palette and details from Turner’s The Scarlet Sunset, 1830-40.
A titan of British landscape painting, JMW Turner’s watercolour scenes teem with colour. The pinks, yellows, blues and lilacs of this hazy sunset scene flood the watch strap and face with colour, with the artist’s sun and its river reflection detailed in gold debossing, which changes colour throughout the day to mimic a sunrise and sunset. Come nighttime, the slim silver hands glow in the dark
A semi-translucent pink watch case made from biosourced material surrounds the watch face, with a matching buckle to complement the patterned silicone straps. The strap end tucks neatly away into a frosted silicone loop with our Tate dot logo that finishes the watch.
Swatch has been promoting their belief that art makes life better by collaborating with artists, designers and galleries since they began making watches in the early 1980s. Proud to be part of this aim, we’ve partnered with the Swiss watch makers to reinterpret Tate collection artworks to create quality timepieces inspired by timeless masterpieces.
The Turner Sunset Swatch watch is water resistant, so you can keep your watch clean with a toothbrush dipped in soapy water, and dry with a soft cloth. Rinse in lukewarm water after swimming in salt water, and avoid contact with solvents and creams. Light scratches to the synthetic glass can be buffed out using cream polish, and when your watch battery runs out, you can get it replaced for free at a Swatch shop.

We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:
UK – 2-3 working days
International – 2-4 weeks
For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:
UK – 1-2 weeks
International – 2-4 weeks
Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.
If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.Delivery costs
We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Please note that this is offer is valid only online. Our other delivery costs are as follows.
For orders under £60:
UK – £3.60 per order
European Union – £15 per order
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order
Limited editions
Due to the nature of our Limited Edition artworks, Tate offers rates for packaging materials to sufficiently protect the works and a fully insured, door-to-door courier service, for both UK and international shipping.
Rugs
Rugs are dispatched directly from the Christopher Farr workshop, so they will arrive separately from any other items ordered from Tate Shop.

Goldfinger + Tate furniture
As each item of furniture is made to order, delivery takes 12-14 weeks, and will arrive separately to any other items in your Tate Shop order.
Food & Wine
Our collection of food and wine is only available for delivery in the UK. We currently offer free delivery on wine orders over £100, using a specialist white glove service within the M25 area.
Wine: UK only – £20 per order
Please note that our wines can only be purchased by those aged 18 years and over. Customers will be asked to provide proof of age upon delivery.

Refunds & returns
Please contact our customer service team within 45 days if you need to return anything from your order. We will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, Goldfinger + Tate furniture, face coverings and pierced earrings. We cannot cover the cost of returning the items, unless we've made a mistake or they are faulty.
