Featuring a detail from Polly Barnard, 1885–6 on the front of the presentation gift box, the set contains two metal tins of pencils (6 sketching pencils, 12 coloured pencils), two black fineliners (0.1 and 0.3) and an A5 pad of 25 sheets of medium grain drawing paper.
John Singer Sargent’s Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose, 1885–6 is one of the most enduringly popular works in Tate’s collection – but did you know we also hold some of Sargent’s preparatory sketches for the piece?
The coloured pencils have soft, break-resistant leads for a smooth texture and easy blending, and vibrant colours. The sketching pencil set contains 4B and 8B graphite pencils, a sepia, a white charcoal, medium charcoal and hard charcoal. The set also gives you access to an exclusive digital guide, taking you through some of Sargent’s drawing techniques, so you can experiment with them yourself.

We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:

International – 2-4 weeks
For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:
UK – 1-2 weeks
International – 2-4 weeks
Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.

We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Please note that this is offer is valid only online. Our other delivery costs are as follows.
For orders under £60:
UK – £3.60 per order
European Union – £15 per order
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order
Limited editions
Due to the nature of our Limited Edition artworks, Tate offers rates for packaging materials to sufficiently protect the works and a fully insured, door-to-door courier service, for both UK and international shipping.
Rugs
Rugs are dispatched directly from the Christopher Farr workshop, so they will arrive separately from any other items ordered from Tate Shop.

Goldfinger + Tate furniture
As each item of furniture is made to order, delivery takes 12-14 weeks, and will arrive separately to any other items in your Tate Shop order.
Food & Wine
Our collection of food and wine is only available for delivery in the UK. We currently offer free delivery on wine orders over £100, using a specialist white glove service within the M25 area.
Wine: UK only – £20 per order
Please note that our wines can only be purchased by those aged 18 years and over. Customers will be asked to provide proof of age upon delivery.

Refunds & returns
Please contact our customer service team within 45 days if you need to return anything from your order. We will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, Goldfinger + Tate furniture, face coverings and pierced earrings. We cannot cover the cost of returning the items, unless we've made a mistake or they are faulty.
